I wonder if trial lawyers sit around and chat with their kids when they are preparing to examine a difficult witness. Because this kid does a good job at turning the simplest question into the most complicated conversation. His circular logic just astounds me.
Also, it is awesome that he thinks his dad is sitting around the office all day, being sad and spending money. But, I think that he does kind of understand that dad works so that we can have a house and buy stuff. On occasion he will get it into his head that he wants to buy a new toy or go to a restaurant, and when I tell him we don’t have the money to spend on that, he says, “Dad, go back to work for longer.”
Poor dad. No wonder he sits around at work being sad and spending money.
