Lesson learned: trash talking can make any chore more pleasant. This was a super fun day of weeding with my boy. This boy can trash talk like nobody’s business. By the end of our little gardening session, I swear the weeds were cutting themselves before he could get to them.
On a technical note, this illustration was really fun to make. The weeds are made from a (photocopy of a) page on weeds in the 1916 Almanac. Photocopies. Because I’m too much of a wimp to cut real books.
